While I was in Las Vegas for Affiliate Summit West 2015 one of the many wonderful things I got to do was eat dinner at Trevi Italian Restaurant in the Forum at Caesars Palace. Immediately I loved the atmosphere, it was like outside dining inside.
Throughout the meal the *sky* changed from day to evening, it was so neat.
Again for this meal we were treated to a menu selected by the chef, everything was amazing. One of the things I love about food is the presentation, Trevi’s does not disappoint in their presentation or their flavor. Everything was delicious, I tried it all and when I came home and told Nate about everything we decided we are for sure making Trevi’s a stop the next time we are in Las Vegas.
Doesn’t it all just make your mouth water? We were all having fun taking pictures of the food and trying everything. It’s pretty neat to not have to look at a menu and try to decide what you want. I wish everywhere did family style dining like this, it makes it so nice to get to try a bit of everything. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, I always love Margherita Pizza and theirs was fantastic. The Chicken Marsala I kept eating knowing Nate would love it, it was so so good. I also really enjoyed the Antipasto Della Casa, the green olives (sorry, I don’t know their proper name) were SOOO good, I didn’t even know I like them, whatever they did to them made them amazing. Oh and the Italian Chopped salad, perfection. Again, I love salad so I wasn’t surprised to love it but it was so full of flavor, it could easily be a meal on it’s own!
Want to know what was also amazing? Their drinks. We all enjoyed a variety of Virgin Daiquiris and Virgin Pina Coladas, so so very good.
Dinner was delicious, every single part of it. Everyone working at Trevi’s made us feel like we were their number one priority, I loved every single thing about the restaurant. Then they brought out dessert!
I’m so glad I was able to see what was coming so I could snap this photo.
If I thought dinner was amazing dessert quite possibly topped it. I cannot pick a favorite between the Banana Veneziana and the Spaghetti Ice so I’ll just tell you about all 3. The Banana Veneziana is quite literally the size of your head filled full of the most amazing basically banana split you can imagine. Now you have to understand, banana splits are pretty much Nate’s specialty. A, he loves them and B, he makes them pretty amazing himself. I had to break the news to him that he had nothing on the Banana Veneziana. The menu describes it as “The Ultimate Sundae! A trio of gelati, bananas, chocolate, caramel, and strawberry sauce.” They’re not lying, it is literally the Ultimate Sundae and at only $10 why on earth would you deny yourself? Next I tried the Spaghetti Ice, is that not thee most adorable dessert you’ve ever seen? It looks just like spaghetti and meatballs but instead is again their delicious gelato. We took a lot of pictures and then devoured it. 3. The Tiramisu was also delicious, I don’t think it beats their chocolate gelato but it was full of flavor and I was glad to get to try it.
Again I have to say that every moment of my meal at Trevi Restaurant was an absolute pleasure. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, everything. I cannot think of a thing I would even recommend to them to change or improve upon. I hope if you are in Las Vegas you’ll stop by Trevi Restaurant, if not for a full meal at least go get dessert. I’ll definitely be heading back.
