We want to give a big THANK YOU shout out to the ladies over at My Mommy Style and the people at Thanksgiving Point for putting on this wonderful event and for including us. Remember My Mommy Style has a new video posted each Monday at 2:00pm Mountain Time.
As a LONG time fan of Thanksgiving Point and all they have to offer I am very excited to bring you this giveaway! We’re giving away 4 individual day passes to Thanksgiving Point AND we’ve joined up with a bunch of other wonderful bloggers to offer a Family Season Pass to Thanksgiving Point as well. Paula and I have had season passes to Thanksgiving Point a few times in the past and happily have ours for this year as well, it was a great deal back when you had the Natural History Museum, Farm Country, and the Gardens. This year they’re opening the brand new Museum of Natural Curiosity and the deal just got sweeter.
Paula and I took the kids and headed down for a sneak peek at the new venue and we are definitely impressed. If I admit I didn’t see the kids for a solid hour will you judge me? With as many as I had with me I figured it was best to stay in one location at a time with the youngest and to let the others explore and come back to me…well, they sure explored!! They’d have closed the place down if we hadn’t had soccer practice to race off to.
To say this is a Kid’s Paradise would be quite accurate. I mean part of the museum is called Kidopolis!
My kids loved the music room, in fact when I had to go hunt them down they were all hanging out in there.
They also LOVED the Marquee at the movie theater, you can go up there and change out what the sign says. They were having a lot of fun making up movie names.
There are so many other areas that are amazing (but a bit hard to catch pictures in). The kids loved the water area even though there was no water running yet.
Here they were standing in the wind tunnel area, it tells you how fast the wind is blowing. I think it was over 70mph in this photo!
Lila LOVED the market area, she would have easily spent her entire time there.
Bright was having a LOT of fun in the Magic Shop!
Here the kids could set up houses and then push buttons to see how earthquakes move around the ground and can cause houses to be destroyed….they spent a lot of time here…
Behind the kids here you can see the Rain Forest area, it is full of things to climb and explore, it is amazing! They even have a ropes course up above it all!!
And here is a quick picture of us. We had so much fun and cannot wait to go back when the water is running and we can explore all the outdoor gardens too!
Are you ready to go check out the awesomeness?
GOOD LUCK! I hope you win!!!
